Our Story
I had the privilege of spending the past 14+ years of my life with my amazing dog Niko. He inspired me to become a professional dog trainer and advocate for force-free training. I wanted to learn everything about how I can create a happy life for him and help him navigate through the human world with all its rules that don't makes sense to dogs.
In return, he taught me patience, unconditional love, and finding joy in the small things that we humans so often overlook.

Kindness Is Powerful
I have always felt that I have a very deep bond with my dog - don't we all feel that way? But I was moved to learn that others recognize the strong connection, too, and that it has inspired them in their own lives. It proves that kindness can be very powerful.
This is what they say:

Your world grew quieter. So I spoke louder, or I whispered softly into your ear for you to hear me. Our conversations changed. "I'm right here, Niko," I would say often. "Over here, I'm over here!"
Your world was a bit darker, too. So I waved my arms whenever you walked into the room so you could see me.
Your world smelled less intense. So I placed your treats where you could find them.
The world became difficult for you to navigate as your hind legs weakened, and your back ached. So I supported you when you climbed steps or crossed a slippery floor.
Now the world closed in on you, taking your breath away. So I turned to you to tell me if it was time. Because there was nothing I could do to help you breathe.
I watched the gradual decline of your health with stubborn denial, desperately trying to halt time. You bravely endured medical appointments and countless treatments. After two years of fighting, you could not go on any longer. You were ready, and I let you go with all the love I have for you. But, oh, how I miss you. Goodbye, my sweet friend.
